NICO OEFELE
I do research on non-bank financial intermediation with a focus on money markets mutual funds and digital assets, particularly stablecoins.
I have been awarded with the Schmalenbach Scholarship (2019), the Postgraduate Award of the University of Western Australia (2022), and the PhD Top-up Scholarship of the Digital Finance Cooperative Research Centre (2024).
Before beginning my PhD, I worked in the Corporate Finance department at ZEISS Group in Germany.
