NICO OEFELE, PhD
In October 2025, I began a one-year post doctoral position with the Digital Finance Cooperative Research Centre (DFCRC), conducting a research project on stablecoin price making for their industry partner JellyC in Sydney.
My prior research focuses on non-bank financial intermediation, with particular emphasis on money markets mutual funds and digital assets, especially stablecoins.
I have been awarded with the Schmalenbach Scholarship (2019), the Postgraduate Award of the University of Western Australia (2022), and the PhD Top-up Scholarship of the DFCRC (2024).
